Nathaly Andrade is an economist graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE) in Quito. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC) and a Diploma in Impact Evaluation of Public Policies and Social Programs from the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL LAC) in Santiago, Chile. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.

Currently, she works as a Policy Analyst in the Department of Legislative Services of Maryland. She has worked as a researcher at the Latin American Center for Economic and Social Policies (CLAPES-UC) in Chile and at the Ministry of Production, Employment, and Competitiveness of Ecuador.

Her areas of expertise include Economic and Social Policies, Applied Econometrics, Data Analysis, and Impact Evaluation. Among her publications, “Crime and (Price) Punishment in the Chilean Real Estate Market: The Case of Santiago,” co-authored with Arturo Cifuentes, stands out.
