Julián Valdés has Bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy, Anthropology and Religious Sciences, he also has a postgraduate degree in Strategic Political Communication and a Ph.D. in Philosophy.
He has accumulated a long career as a social manager, university professor and social researcher. He is currently an attached professor at the School of Philosophy and the School of Sociology of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo; It also carries out social research work for national and international entities.
Among his publications are the books Dominican Social Policy, Transnational Links for Socio-political Empowerment and The Nature-Culture Relationship in Structural Anthropology by C. Lévi-Strauss, the latter winner of the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National Essay Award 2018.
